Bristol Bears suffered a home defeat against reigning champions Saracens at Shaftesbury Park in round nine.
Row Marston scored the Bears' only try and was named pick of the match. Simi Pam made her 50th appearance for the Bears.
Saracens' try scorers included Jess Breach, Lotte Clapp, Marlie Packer, Poppy Cleal and Sharifa Kasolo. Zoe Harrison kicked all but one conversion and Sarah McKenna landed a drop goal.
Both teams were level on points heading into the fixture and fighting to lay claim to fourth place in the Allianz Premier 15s table.
The Bears next face top-of-the-table Gloucester-Hartpury at home on Saturday, February 4th.
