Important Travel Information: Getting to the Gate vs Brive

Bristol Bears take on Brive in the European Rugby Challenge Cup on Saturday, January 11th (3pm KO) at Ashton Gate Stadium.

Here's the key information with everything you need to know ahead of the Bears' match against Brive.ย 

MATCHDAY BUS SERVICES

  • The AG1 matchday bus service will depart Portway Park and Ride at 12.15pm, 1.15pm and 2.15pm. Due to roadworks this service will run an alternative route pre-match meaning there will be no pick-up from Riverleaze or Roman Way and standard journey times may be affected. Post-match services will call at all stops and due to depart Ashton Gate at 5pm, 5.45pm and 6.40pm however the latter two departures may leave slightly later due to the diversion delaying the return of the bus
  • The AG2 matchday bus service will depart Brislington Park and Ride at 12.40pm, 1.25pm and 2.10pm and run directly to Ashton Gate as usual. Post-match departures are due to leave Ashton Gate at 5pm, 5.45pm and 6.40pm
  • The AG3 matchday bus service will depart Horfield Common at 1.05pm and 2.05pm and run its usual route. Post-match departures are due to leave Ashton Gate at 5pm and 5.50pm
  • Full route maps are available at www.bristolbearsrugby.com/travel but please note that the standard timetable will not operate and fans should use the timings as above

HIGHWAYS

  • Portway A4 is closed INBOUND only with a diversion in place. Please allow extra time for your journey or find an alternative route
  • A community event means North Street will be closed from the Workout gym to Dean Lane from 5pm onwards. Closures will also affect Cannon Street and sections of British Road. The number 24 bus route will have diversions in place
