Sam Jeffries has been called up to the England men's squad for their tour of Australia following an injury to Charlie Ewels.
The athletic back row forward, who can also operate in the second row, flies down under this evening and will join up with the squad in Perth ahead of Saturday's First Test.
It's another step in Jeffries' incredible journey, having taking two season out of the game to recover from a knee injury. The 29-year-old made his return to the Bears first team squad at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign and took the Gallagher Premiership by storm, making 17 appearances and scoring two tries.
This sort of thing and a whole lot more! ๐คฉ
