Junior Academy U16s train at Brean Sands

Summer was not quite over for Bears Junior Academy U16 squad, as they took to the beach at Brean Sands for a training session last week.

The combination of rugby and physical exercises were well received by boys and the watching group of parents.

“This is less about the rugby and more about team building & enjoyment,” said Junior Academy Manager Gary Townsend.

“We thought we would bring them to a different environment and have both our South and North groups train together at a brilliant location.

“The S&C coaches put a really great programme of exercises together and it was brilliant to see the boys working hard and enjoying themselves at the same time.”
