Lam Plays In Historic Test Match

Bristol Rugby's Jack Lam started for Samoa in the 25-16 defeat at the hands of New Zealand on Wednesday.

Samoa had played the All Blacks five times previously and this was their best performance, eclipsing their 35-13 defeat in 1993.

Dan Carter kicked twenty points and set up debutant George Moala's try with a cross-field kick, while Alafoti Faosiliva crossed for Samoa in front of 8,000 supporters at Apia.

Congratulations to Jack Lam and Anthony Perenise, who was listed among the replacements.
