Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup Returns

The ever popular Bristol Rugby Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup returns for its ninth season, with aspiring young rugby players across the country getting the chance to play a series of matches against other teams from their local area.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a nationwide development programme for under 11 and under 12 teams.

The long running grassroots rugby series, supported by Land Rover since its inception, was the first of its kind to be officiated by Premiership Rugby and is run in conjunction with all 12 Premiership Rugby clubs.

The Bristol Rugby Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup will be celebrated on Sunday, 16th April at Ashton Gate, during the half-time interval of Bristol’s Aviva Premiership clash with Wasps.

Youngsters attending the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup grassroots festival will also have the chance to meet Bristol Rugby players, who will be offering advice for aspiring young rugby stars, meeting the clubs and families who make these festivals so special and watching the next generation of talent in their matches.

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup has seen nearly 68,000 children take part to date, from all over the country, providing opportunities for U11 and U12 players to play, develop and excel in the game.

So, get involved at Bristol Rugby and support the young stars of your local clubs.

All teams attending each Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup will be given the opportunity to win the chance to go to Twickenham for the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on 27 May 2017.
