Lansdown Stand 'Clubhouse' Taking Shape

The first phase of the new clubhouse development will be on display in the Lansdown Stand lower tier concourse on Boxing Day.

Supporters can enjoy a seventy-metre timeline displaying the key moments in the club’s history, as well as a captains’ honours board and a Combination Club board.

You can view our timelapse footage of the timeline here.

In the New Year, cabinets featuring memorabilia, imagery and shirts throughout Bristol Rugby’s rich history will be added.

“It’s fantastic that we’re able to reveal the first elements of the clubhouse at Ashton Gate on Boxing Day,” chairman Chris Booy said.

“We are celebrating our heritage and traditions in our fantastic, world-class home. We hope the clubhouse – as we add more to it in 2017 – will become a hub for rugby supporters at the stadium.

“Club historian Mark Hoskins – alongside Bristol Sport’s head of marketing Matthew Joy – have done an excellent job in driving this project and there will be plenty more to look forward to in the New Year.”

This is phase one of the development and an official launch will be scheduled upon completion of the Clubhouse in 2017. Purchase tickets for Boxing Day online by clicking here, or by calling Supporter Services on 0117 963 0600.
