Lemi: Bristol Rugby Is A Special Club

David Lemi called Bristol a ‘special club’ after making his one-hundredth first team appearance on Saturday.

The winger – who started in the 65-7 victory over Plymouth at Brickfields – believes the team are showing signs of improvement.

“Bristol is such a special club to me. It is the club who offered me the opportunity to start my career and put my name on the map,” Lemi told bristolrugby.co.uk.

“To play one-hundred games for Bristol is an honour and privilege and hopefully I'll play a few more before I finish my career.

“There has been a lot of change from my first spell with different personalities and facilities but the only thing that hasn't changed are the supporters, who are amazing.

“We're coming towards the end of the season with only a couple of games until the playoffs. It's been good for us but we're not going to think ahead of ourselves, we just want to go out there and improve our performance each week because the playoffs is the key.”

Tickets are available online by clicking here, via the ticket hotline on 0117 963 0600 or by visiting the Bristol Sport Megastore (opening hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 9am-1pm).
