Five Bristol Bears players were in loan action over the weekend, as George Kloska, Blake Boyland, Sam Graham and James Dun all featured for Dings Crusaders, and Ollie Dawe played for Cinderford.

National Two South - Dings 45-33 Esher

George Kloska, Blake Boyland, Sam Graham and James Dun all featured for Dings Crusaders, as they made a fantastic start to the new decade with a bonus-point win over Esher at Shaftesbury Park.

Kloska touched down and Graham was named man of the match, while Boyland continued his return from a pre-season injury with an impressive debut for the club.

Kloska got the scoreboard ticking over with a try converted by fly-half Steve Plummer in the second-minute. Esher replied with full-back Callum Monks crossing and Tristan Roberts adding the extras. Luke Arscott went over next for the home side before Gavin Curry scored to take Dings 19-7 clear.

Lock Cam Gentles pulled a converted try back for the visitors, but the rampant home side added two further tries through Tom Knight and Matt Smith secured the try bonus-point to make it 31-14 at the turn.

But it was all Esher for 30 minutes of the second half with the Surrey-based side adding 19 points to take a 33-31 lead. Jack Walsh James Booth and Ben Davies crossed for tries, with Roberts adding two conversions. However, Crusaders found another gear in the closing stages, with Graham and Tom Hargan adding late tries to cement the win.

National One - Cindeford 3-8 Cambridge

Ollie Dawe started for Cinderford against Cambridge, but it was the visitors who edged to an unlikely victory in the Forest of Dean.

Cambridge started well in the first-half against a badly out of sorts home team and thoroughly deserved their 8-3 lead at the interval.

The second half was scoreless, with Cinderford squandering a late opportunity to snatch the win.
