Luke Arscott Returns To Bristol On Loan Agreement

The full back – who spent four seasons with the Club between 2006 and 2010 – joins from parent club Bath.

Arscott made ninety-one appearances for Bristol, scoring eleven tries. The 31 year-old went on to represent Exeter Chiefs and Bath in the Aviva Premiership.

“Luke brings with him some real experience in the full back position – that can be a valuable asset to us as the season progresses,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.

“With Jack [Wallace] and Auguy [Slowik] already part of the squad, Luke can help these young players develop their games and hone their skillsets.

“We’re building a squad that we believe can win the Championship and Luke fits into that mould.”

Arscott added: “It’s great to be back at Bristol and I’m looking forward to helping the Club fulfill their ambitions this season.

“The Championship is a tough league and it’s about peaking at the right time – there is some real quality in the squad and a driven environment. It’s good to be part of that.

“I had a great relationship with the supporters during my first spell with Bristol and I’m excited to play at Ashton Gate in front of them once again.”
