Marco Mama insists it's 'business as usual' at the Clifton RFC training base ahead of Saturday's clash with London Scottish (3pm KO).
Bristol's twelve game winning run was ended by Cornish Pirates at Mennaye Field, but the flanker says spirits in the camp remain high.
"There won't be any knee-jerk reactions after Sunday's defeat. We know we didn't perform well enough and ultimately the display didn't warrant the win," Mama told bristolrugby.co.uk.
"The mood is the environment is really good. One blip won't change that. We know where we went wrong and we are working hard to put that right.
"Defensive errors and discipline cost us against Pirates, but that's individual errors that we can improve. We believe in the system that we have here and we are confident as a group in what we can achieve.
"Obviously, the best response is to go to London Scottish and deliver a really solid performance. That's what we are striving for.
"On a personal note, I was delighted to make my one-hundredth competitive appearance for Bristol. It was incredibly proud moment and I hope there will be many more in the future."
