WHEN AND WHERE

The Bears' round eight Gallagher Premiership clash with Sale Sharks is on Friday, February 5th, with kick-off at 7.45pm (UK).

In the UK, the game will be televised on BT Sport 1 HD and broadcast live on BBC Radio Bristol - and you can also follow all the action in our Matchday Centre on bristolbearsrugby.com and on Twitter: @BristolBears, whilst highlights will be available to watch from 10am the following day.

FORM GUIDE

Bristol Bears have won their last six Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches since their opening weekend defeat at Wasps. Bristol’s solitary home defeat in Premiership Rugby since December 2019 was 22-25 to Exeter in August 2020.

Sale Sharks have won their last three Gallagher Premiership fixtures since their 23-26 defeat at home to Wasps on 27 December. The Sharks have lost only once away from home in Premiership Rugby since August: 13-15 at Newcastle at the end of November.

The last three encounters between the two clubs have been evenly split with one win apiece in addition to a draw. Sale have visited Ashton Gate on four previous occasions in all competitions with their only victory being 31-13 in Premiership Rugby in October 2016.
