Mentality key ahead of Quins clash

Keira Bevan returns to the Bears starting line-up for the first time in five months for tomorrow’s clash with Quins and the scrum half has cited the Bears’ mentality being key if they are to cause an upset.

‘I want to get stuck in straight away’

“I have felt so comfortable coming to Bristol Bears to do my rehab because Gareth and Kate have done it all and they have been amazing to be honest,” said Bevan.

“I’m just going to try and put myself in a position where I can get stuck in straight away, whether that be a tackle or get tackled and try to get myself into the game as quickly as possible.

“We’ve had a very up and down season it is fair to say. We’re definitely going to look to put that right at the weekend against Quins.

“It’s going to be a tough game – they’re second in the league at the moment but we’ll go out to try and cause an upset where we can.

“It’s been proven that they can be beaten, Exeter have turned them over this season so it is possible that they can be beaten, we just have to come into the game with the right mindset.”
