Morgan Scoops Championship Player of The Year

Matthew Morgan has been named the Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Year at the RPA awards ceremony in London on Wednesday.

The fly half beat off competition from London Scottish's Mark Bright and Alex Rieder of Rotherham Titans to scoop the coveted prize.

Morgan's first season in the blue and white hoops has seen the Welsh international make nineteen appearances, racking up 152 points in the process.

"I'm delighted to win the Championship Player of the Year award," Morgan told bristolrugby.co.uk.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed my first year with the Club and I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without my teammates, who have been fantastic.

"The focus for everyone now is to kick on and ensure we end the season on a high. We're really excited about what is to come."

Congratulations to Matthew on this superb achievement from everybody at Bristol Sport.
