Muldowney confirms retirement at end of season

Aly Muldowney will retire at the end of the 2019/20 campaign, following a twelve-year career in the professional game.

The 36 year-old – who joined Bristol in the summer of 2018 – won a PRO12 title under Pat Lam at Connacht.

Muldowney also represented Glasgow, Exeter Chiefs and Grenoble before his arrival at Ashton Gate.

“It’s been a privilege to play the sport I love in different countries and have the opportunity to meet and work with great people along the way,” said the lock.
