New Lansdown Stand Dressing Rooms Unveiled

Bristol Rugby supporters will get to see their side emerge from the new Lansdown Stand tunnel for the first time against Exeter Chiefs on Sunday, 5 February (3pm KO).

Bristol Rugby supporters will get to see their side emerge from the new Lansdown Stand tunnel for the first time against Exeter Chiefs on Sunday, 5 February (3pm KO).

The new dressing room areas are ready for the Anglo-Welsh Cup clash, with Bristol City FC using them ahead of Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

Tainton said: "We’re pleased with the new, first class facilities in the Lansdown Stand at Ashton Gate. On behalf of the rugby club, we’re grateful to Martin Griffiths, Mark Kelly, Ross Wormald and Peter Smith for their work and everyone who has been associated with the project.”

The brand-new Media Centre, situated in the North West corner of the stadium, will also be opened to the press for the first time.

Martin Griffiths, chairman of Bristol Sport said: “The players tunnel is the heart of any stadium and it will be a proud moment to see the players run out from it on Tuesday evening when Bristol City play Sheffield Wednesday. This redevelopment project began in the summer of 2014 and has seen the transformation of Ashton Gate into a stadium that is fit for the exciting, modern city Bristol has become."

Tickets remain on general sale for the Exeter Chiefs clash, either online by clicking here or by calling 0117 963 0600 during office hours.
