Nexa Bristol will remain as Official Estate Agent Partner to Bristol Bears ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Wapping Wharf based company, set up by former Bears players Rob Higgitt, Olly Kohn, Danny Gray and ex-captain Joe El-Abd, continue to work closely with the club across digital activation and professional development opportunities.
In 2020/21, Nexa Bristol sponsored the commercially successful ‘Move of the Month’ feature – a social media competition that allows supporters to vote for their favourite Bears highlights.
Group Head of Commercial Justine Kebby said: "NEXA Bristol are a local success story - we've seen fantastic mutual benefit in the first year of our partnership, so I'm delighted that the relationship will continue in 2021/22. The 'Move of the Month' fan engagement content has helped to build the profile of NEXA, while also celebrating the dynamic rugby that Pat Lam's team play."
Bears Chief Executive Mark Tainton said: “Nexa Bristol are a company that prides themselves on innovation, so we’ve been really impressed in the way that they have engaged with our players and fanbase during an unprecedented season last year.
“They have delivered seminars and workshops for our players, as well as offering placement opportunities which is a key focus for the club in ensuring the guys are prepared for life after rugby.
“With former players at its core, Nexa understand the importance of the culture and vision that we have at the Bears. We look forward to continuing to grow together in 2021/22.”
Rob Higgitt, South West Director said: “Rugby plays a huge part in our culture here at NEXA, especially our close links to the Bristol Bears, so we couldn’t be more excited to be continuing our sponsorship with them in 2021/22.
“Our time at the club helped us build invaluable transferable skills that have supported us in the launch and growth of NEXA across the UK. We are looking forward to seeing the team have another great season and welcoming more placements to help the players explore their development for life after rugby.”
