O'Connell: Squad Is In A Good Place

Jack O'Connell believes there is a great spirit in the camp ahead of Bristol's trip to Moseley on Saturday (3pm KO).

The prop - who started in the victory over London Scottish last weekend - told bristolrugby.co.uk the players were eager to build on the feel-good factor of the bonus point win.

"We're in a good place as a group at the minute, everybody is pushing one another and the boys are enjoying their rugby. It shows in the performances because everyone is playing for each other," he said.

"We were pleased with how we went against Scottish, although we let them back in it during a ten minute spell. That's something to focus on - being able to sustain a performance for eighty minutes, but we responded in the right way and kept playing until the end.

"The A-League is helping as well because it means everybody is getting game-time and is given an opportunity to show what they are about. There's no first team or second team here, it's one squad and we know it'll be a squad effort to see us achieve our goals.

"The next challenge is Moseley and that's all we can focus on. We will give them the respect they deserve and prepare for a huge challenge because they will throw everything at us. It'll be a tough game, but we know we can expect a big following from our supporters."
