Piutau's battling Tonga beaten by England

Siale Piutau captained Tonga as they went down 35-3 to England in Sapporo on Sunday.

The Bears midfielder started at outside centre, as a spirited Tonga side made England work throughout a physical Pool C clash.

Two first-half tries from Manu Tuilagi, a second-half score from Jamie George and Luke Cowan-Dickie's bonus-point fourth try sealed the win for Eddie Jone's side.

England: Daly, Watson, Tuilagi, Farrell (c), May, Ford, Youngs; Marler, George, Sinckler, Lawes, Itoje, Curry, Underhill, Vunipola. Replacements: Cowan-Dickie, Genge, Cole, Kruis, Ludlam, Heinz, Slade, Joseph.
