The insulation specialists continue their association with Bristol City and extend their sponsorship to Bristol Rugby as the Championship side makes Ashton Gate its new home.

Andrew Billingham, chief executive of Bristol Sport said “It is great that Poplar has joined the Bristol Sport family with its sponsorship of both football and rugby clubs. In extending its investment Poplar has recognised the power of being involved in the largest sporting franchise in the South West. “

Poplar is a local family run, Bristol business specialising in thermal insulation. Mike Nolan (founder and owner) commented “I’m so impressed with what is happening with Bristol Sport and Ashton Gate.

“When we heard that Bristol Rugby were joining City at the stadium we knew we wanted to be involved with both teams. My son Blaine and I have been City fans for years. The opportunity for us to have our company logo sit alongside multinational brands like RSG, Integral and Capita is excellent. It will really drive brand awareness and hopefully open up a whole new set of fans to our company. Let’s hope both teams have a great season!”

Poplar is Back of Shirt and Shorts sponsor of Bristol City and Back of Shorts sponsor for Bristol Rugby for the next two seasons.
