Bristol Ladies will open the RFU Women’s Premiership campaign at Ashton Gate in a unique double header on Sunday, September 6th (5.15pm KO).
Immediately following Bristol’s Greene King IPA Championship clash with Bedford Blues, the Ladies will face Worcester.
“We couldn’t ask for a better way to kick start our new campaign: the first time we’ve played at Ashton Gate, in front of a Bristol Rugby crowd and against a local rival,” Head Coach LJ Adams told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“All the players are ready to put on an exciting brand of Bristol Rugby which I know will attract new supporters to the women's game.”
The two sides met twice last season, with Bristol winning 36-22 in October, before going down 22-5 at the Portway in the return fixture.
Team: Caryl Thomas, Clara Nielson, Abbie Parsons, Kate Newton, Amelia Buckland-Hurry, Rachel Taylor, Izzy Noel-Smith, Sarah Hunter, Sian Moore, Amber Reed, Courtney Bishop, Claire Molloy, Tilly Vaughan-Fowler, Jenny Fotheringham, Sydney Gregson. Replacements Georgia Bradley and Daisy Travers.
The game is free entry for supporters, so be sure to stay and support the Ladies in action.
