Bristol Rugby v Worcester Warriors
Greene King IPA Championship play-off final first leg
Ashton Gate
Wednesday, May 20th, 7.45pm
Worcester Warriors visit the West Country for the first leg of the Championship final at Ashton Gate on Wednesday (7.45pm kick-off).
During the regular campaign, Warriors won nineteen of their twenty-one regular league matches and all nine of their B&I Cup games to secure the title.
Dean Ryan's side have yet to beat Bristol this season, losing on the opening day at Ashton Gate and then suffering a 30-26 defeat at Sixways.
The play-off semi-finals saw a trip to Richmond to face London Scottish where three yellow cards upset Warriors’ rhythm but a late penalty try ensured a five-point advantage going into the second leg.
And, although Scottish took an early lead at Sixways, Warriors responded to sweep them aside 38-15 to secure their place in the final.
The second leg will take place at Sixways on Wednesday, May 27th (7.45pm kick-off).
