Cornish Pirates v Bristol Rugby
Mennaye Field
Sunday, February 1st, 3pm

Cornish Pirates welcome Bristol Rugby to Mennaye Field on Sunday, looking to bounce back from successive league defeats (3pm kick-off).

Ian Davies' men suffered a 62-26 defeat at the hands of Worcester Warriors, before going down 27-15 to top-four chasing London Scottish.

Former Bristol hooker Tom Channon bagged a double at the Richmond Athletic Ground, but it wasn't enough to prevent a second straight loss.

Cornish Pirates have never lost to Bristol at Mennaye Field since the Championship began in 2009.

Last season, Andy Robinson's side succumbed to a 21-15 loss in Penzance as Kieran Goss bagged a brace.

Following Sunday's game, Cornish Pirates travel to Moseley on Saturday, 7 February.

Team news

Ross McMillan could make his competitive debut for Bristol after being named among the replacements ahead of Sunday’s clash with Cornish Pirates (3pm KO).

The hooker – who joined from Northampton Saints on Monday – is included in the 22-man squad for the Mennaye Field encounter.

Jack Wallace returns to the side after serving his four-week ban as Andy Robinson makes four changes from the last league outing.

Dwayne Peel comes in to skipper the side, while Jack O’Connell and James Hall are listed in the front row.

Marco Mama starts in the back row and makes his one-hundredth competitive appearance for the Club.

Josh Ovens is named on the replacements bench and could make his first Championship outing of the season.
