Bristol Bears Women travel to Twyford Avenue Sports Ground to face Wasps Ladies in the final round of the Premier 15’s.

Wasps’ last outing saw them secure a place in the Premier 15’s play-offs following a seven try thumping of Gloucester-Hartpury, their 47-20 victory put them six points clear to sit comfortably in fourth place.

Bristol Bears Women 17-32 Wasps Ladies – Saturday, Sept 8th 2018
The last meeting between the two sides saw visiting Wasps pick up a bonus-point win on the opening weekend of the Tyrrell’s Premier 15s season.
The two sides exchanged tries in the first half with Abby Dow and Liz Crake crossing for Wasps, while Lucy Attwood and Poppy Leitch touched down for the Bears.
Bern scored for the hosts in the second half, but it wasn’t meant to be for the Bears as scores from Tova Derk and Claire Molloy delivered a double blow and secured victory.
Leitch's performances so far this season have seen her earn a call-up to the Red Roses squad during their Grand Slam Six Nations campaign.
She's dominant at the breakdown and immovable in defence, as well as a strong ball carrying ability, which will see her lead from the front on Saturday.
The centre has started all but one of Bristol’s matches this season and has crossed the whitewash eleven times for the Bears since September.
Fresh off the back of a Player of the Match display against Richmond, be sure to expect some more magic in the thirteen channel this weekend.
Bristol Bears Women come into the final weekend of the season off the back of a hard fought 24-5 victory over Richmond Women.
Kim Oliver's side took sixty minutes to warm up and get into the game and a dominant last twenty minutes was enough to earn them a bonus-point victory.
Wasps head into this weekend's game full of confidence after earning a place in the play-offs with a seven try victory over Gloucester-Hartpury at Kingsholm.
The London based side have been consistent through the season and will be a tough side to beat, especially at Twyford Avenue.
