The Bristol Rugby lock is joined by Jack Lam in the pack, while David Lemi starts in the backline.
Alapati Leiua is included among the replacements in a largely unchanged line-up from the side that lost narrowly against Scotland last weekend.
Giorgi Nemsadze’s Georgia face Wales at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday (2.30pm). The lock touched down for his country in a 54-22 victory over Canada.
