Amber Reed has been named in Simon Middleton's Red Roses squad for upcoming 2021 Six Nations tournament.
The 58-cap international has missed a large part of the season through injury, but the inside centre has battled her way back to fitness to be involved in this year's rescheduled tournament.
The Red Roses will assemble in Doncaster on Monday ahead their opening Pool A game against Scotland at Castle Park (Saturday, 3rd, 3pm KO, live on BBC iPlayer).
Following the match in Yorkshire, England take on Italy at Stadio Plebiscito, Padova (Saturday, April 10th, 2pm KO BST and live on BBC iPlayer) before hosting the final play-off match, the first Women’s Six Nations fixture to be broadcast on the main BBC network (Saturday, April 24th, 2pm KO BST, BBC Two) with the venue to be confirmed.
The Friday after the tournament concludes, Simon Middleton’s side will travel to Lille to take on France in a Women’s Six Nations exhibition game in their maiden visit to Villeneuve d'Ascq (Friday, April 30th, 8pm KO BST, BBC iPlayer).
Sarah Bern (shoulder) is ruled out of the tournament due to injury.
