Will Carpenter reports from Ashton Gate
Report: Bristol Bears 27-5 Worcester Warriors
Sunday, November 7th 2021
Toby Fricker scored twice as Bristol Bears made it back-to-back bonus-point wins with a commanding victory over Worcester Warriors at Ashton Gate.
The wing scored first and last as Pat Lam's men delivered a commanding display in front of nearly 16,000 supporters in BS3.
Fricker collected Morahan's floated pass to fly over in the corner on 37 minutes, before Sam Jeffries galloped clear on the stroke of half time to give the hosts a 13-0 lead at the interval.
Noah Heward's acrobatic finish got the Warriors on the board nine minutes into the second half, but Tom Whiteley's sniping score restored the advantage just four minutes later.
Perry Humphreys' try was then ruled out by the TMO for a forward pass, before Fricker grabbed the bonus-point five minutes from time, after Whiteley's quickly taken penalty had caught the visitors off guard.
