Bristol Bears thrashed Wasps in the opening round of the Allianz Premier 15s on day one of the Women’s Weekend of Sport at Ashton Gate.
Dave Ward's side ran in ten tries in front of more than 2,500 supporters - Lucy Burgess and Grace White went over twice and were joined on the scoresheet by Claire Molloy, Phoebe Murray, Holly Phillips, Bo Osborn-Clarke, Manon Johnes and a penalty try.
Within the first few minutes, Molloy electrified the crowd as she waltzed through the Wasps' defence to open the afternoon’s scoring.
Two minutes later, Murray set Burgess up for her first under the posts, whilst skipper Amber Reed weaved through the defence and quickly offloaded to Burgess for her second.
The Wasps penalty giveaway gave the Bears forwards just the opportunity they needed to drive over the line, where they were held up illegally and the referee awarded the penalty try.
Bears’ second-row Delaney Giles, dented the visitor’s defence to allow the ball to be fed to Murray for the fourth try of the afternoon.
The Bears dominant scrums, explosive tackles and swift hands denied the visitors access to the ball throughout the first half, which gave the home side a 33-point lead at the break.
Burgess shattered through the Wasps defence and off-loaded to White on the wing for a try in the corner.
Soon after White got the crowd roaring once again as she dived over to stretch the Bears score to 45-0.
Fresh off the bench Osborn-Clarke marked her Premier 15s debut with a try, as she dodged a few Wasps players. Osborn-Clarke was one of three former Centre of Excellence graduates alongside White and Reneeqa Bonner.

With only ten minutes to go, Phillips joined her teammates on the scoreboard as she powered over the try line.
Pick of the match Johnes cut through the centre of the field and dotted down to bring the Bears to 60 points.
A fantastic defensive set from the Bears at the death left Wasps scoreless.
