Report: Bristol Bears U18s 12-17 London Irish U18s

Bristol Bears U18s were edged out by London Irish at a foggy Shaftesbury Park on Saturday night.

The Cubs opened the score courtesy of Oscar Simms-Preston's close-range effort, but Irish hit back with a quick-fire double to open up a 7-12 lead.

Simms-Preston's second levelled the scores just before halftime, but the second period belonged to the visitors. After Irish had been held up over the whitewash following a prolonged period of possession inside the Cubs' 22, the pressure eventually told as the Exiles powered over for the decisive score ten minutes from time.
