Report: Exeter Chiefs U18s 26-43 Bristol Bears U18s

Bristol Bears fought back from a 21 point half-time deficit to complete a stunning victory over Exeter Chiefs in the South West derby on Saturday.

Gethin Watts' side trailed 26-5 at the break, but a superb second half fightback ensured a 43-26 win as Bears rounded off their U18s League campaign with a victory.

Bristol trailed 7-5 midway through the first period thanks to Benjy Joseland's early touchdown, but the visitors conceded three further tries before the interval in a disappointing first half.

Bears rallied early in the second period as the ever threatening TJ Wilstead and skipper Jamie Collier went over, before Chay Mullins drew the sides level at 26-26 with Bristol's fourth of the afternoon.

Spike Jangen and Chay Mullins added further tries as the visitors gained the ascendancy, before Charlie Rice rounded off proceedings with a score to seal an impressive victory.
