Bristol Ladies made it back to back wins in the Tyrell’s Premier 15s with an impressive fightback at Firwood Waterloo Ladies.
Kris de Scossa’s side trailed 13-8 at the interval, but hit back with two second half tries to record a gritty 20-16 victory on the road.
Izzy Noel-Smith, Caity Mattinson and Amelia Buckland-Hurry grabbed tries for the visitors, while Langi Tuima’s penalty and Amber Reed’s conversion added to the tally of points.
Buoyed by a comprehensive rout of Worcester last weekend, Bristol burst into action early on at the Memorial Ground, but found themselves behind at half time as Waterloo captain Ash Neale went over for the hosts’ only try.
But a fine second half display ensured Bristol’s early season resurgence continues ahead of the much-anticipated derby with Gloucester-Hartpury at Ashton Gate next Saturday (4.15pm KO).
The advance price deadline for Season Tickets for 2022/23 is June 1st.
