Report: Wasps 44-8 Bristol Bears
Saturday, September 25th 2021
Bristol Bears fell to a second successive Gallagher Premiership defeat as Wasps ran in six tries in a bonus-point win at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Ali Crossdale grabbed a debut brace for the hosts during the first half, while Brad Shields and Dan Frost touched down after the interval to seal a commanding win for Lee Blackett's side.
Max Lahiff powered over for his first Bears try midway through the opening period, but the Bears were unable to click into gear on a frustrating afternoon in Coventry.
Brad Shields was sin binned in either half and subsequently sent off, while the Bears also saw a Dan Thomas try disallowed in the closing stages.
