Seven Bears in line to feature in Wales’ Six Nations opener

Four Bears Women have been named in Warren Abraham’s starting XV, whilst three have been named amongst the replacements to take on France this Saturday (8pm BST).

Wales kick off their Six Nations campaign in Vannes, where they will take on last year’s runners-up at the Stade de la Rabine, live on the BBC iPlayer.

Siwan Lillicrap will captain her country from the base of the scrum and she’ll be joined in the back row by the industrious Manon Johnes, who packs down at openside flanker.

Elinor Snowsill will be orchestrating Wales’ attack at fly-half, whilst the devastating Jasmine Joyce - fresh from GB Sevens Training camp - has been named on the wing.

Natalia John, Gemma Rowland and Courtney Keight have been named amongst the replacement by Abrahams and will all be looking to make an impact when introduced in Vannes.
