Sign up for Foundation’s Christmas holiday camp

Bristol Bears Community Foundation is set for three days of festive rugby fun during the Christmas holidays, as the charity’s ever-popular Player Development Camps head to North Bristol RFC.

The Almondsbury-based club will host the three-day camp from Wednesday, 2nd January – Friday, 4th January 2019, 10am-4pm.

“We look forward to hosting our Christmas Player Development Camp at partner club North Bristol RFC,” said community development manager, Craig Capel.

“The impressive artificial grass pitch provided by the RFU’s Rugby 365 programme will ensure players have a great experience regardless of the weather. No doubt a fantastic Christmas present for the budding young rugby player.”

The camps consist of a games-based combination of technical input and fun and incorporate a level of contact progress through touch, grab and full contact.

Away from the playing field, the camps also offer rugby lifestyle workshops, including nutritional and fitness advice.

Each and every camp is evaluated and fully endorsed by coaches at the very top of the sport.

All coaches hold PRL Minimum Standards qualifications – including minimum RFU Level 1, Enhanced DBS, Safeguarding & Protecting Young People, and First Aid.
