Skills masterclass added to Easter camps schedule

Following the success of last year’s kicking clinic, which saw Ian Madigan and Callum Sheedy working with youngsters from across the combination, the Foundation has introduced an overall skills masterclass with Bristol Bears players.

North Bristol RFC will host the one-day camp, for ages U12-U18, on Wednesday, April 10^th.

In addition, Hornets RFC will host a two-day camp on Monday, April 8^th – Tuesday, April 9^th, with early-bird discount available until Monday, March 11^th.

A second two-day camp will take place at Broad Plain RFC on Wednesday, April 17^th- Thursday, April 18^th, with early-bird discount codes available until Monday, March 18^th.

And in a jam-packed Easter schedule, the Foundation’s ‘girls only’ camp returns to St Mary’s Old Boys on Monday, April 15^th – Tuesday, April 16th.

The camps consist of a games-based combination of technical input and fun and incorporate a level of contact progress through touch, grab and full contact.

Away from the playing field, the camps also offer rugby lifestyle workshops, including nutritional and fitness advice.

Each and every camp is evaluated and fully endorsed by coaches at the very top of the sport.  

All coaches hold PRL Minimum Standards qualifications – including minimum RFU Level 1, Enhanced DBS, Safeguarding & Protecting Young People, and First Aid.
