Co-captain Jordan Crane summed up the emotion of a last-gasp Gallagher Premiership victory on Twitter immediately after the full-time whistle, hailing match-winner Ian Madigan's 'big play'.

Chris Vui's impressive form continued at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday, as the Samoan lock put in another huge shift in a Bristol Bears win, including a fine offload for Joe Batley's opening score.

And Vui heaped praise on Ian Madigan, his teammates and the travelling Bristol faithful.

A picture paints a thousand words and this shot of the full-time celebrations told you everything you needed to know. Steven Luatua, another to impress at The Gardens, tweeted this on Saturday night.

With Joe Joyce absent through injury, it was left to another homegrown star to lead the post-match sing-song - and Andy Uren claimed the 'Blackbird' mantle on Twitter after the game.

Callum Sheedy was another to hail the composure of Ian Madigan, as well as the fans who made the trip to Northampton.

Piers O'Conor went over for the try that levelled the scores in the 86th minute - and what a photo this is, posted on Instagram.

Bristol Post rugby writer, John Evely had the final say on Saturday's dramatic win, describing it as 'a giant step forward in the evolution of the Bristol Bears'.
