Social media round-up: #TiedDownTuesday

Seven contract extensions and two new kit reveals - here's how social media reacted to an action-packed #TiedDownTuesday.

Andy Uren, Joe Joyce, Piers O'Conor, Ed Holmes, Harry Randall, Harry Thacker and Luke Morahan all extended their Bristol Bears contracts, while the 2019/20 home and away kits were both launched across the club channels.

Andy Uren's contract extension kicked off proceedings - and the scrum-half received plenty of plaudits from the Twittersphere, including ITK account, RugbyInsideLine.

Joe Joyce was the second announcement of the day, as the Bristolian lock extended his stay at Ashton Gate - and the Academy graduate said he 'couldn't be happier'.

Piers O'Conor has enjoyed a meteoric rise from the Championship to international honours - and the centre was delighted to extend his Bristol Bears stay on #TiedDownTuesday.

Ed Holmes showcased his power and dynamism on multiple occasions last season, and the second row took to Twitter to say how excited he was for his future at the club.

Livewire number nine, Harry Randall took the Gallagher Premiership by storm in his debut season at Bristol Bears - and the former Gloucester scrum-half 'can't wait to get stuck in'.

The seventh and final announcement of a blockbuster afternoon saw Luke Morahan confirmed for another two years - and the Wallaby thanked the club's supporters for their contribution.

Twitter's rugby kit guru, @rugbystig hailed the new Bristol Bears home kit, calling it: 'beautiful, cool, fresh, clean. Grade A work.'

And we couldn't agree more.
