Stat attack: Bristol Bears 17-10 Bath

Bristol Bears' dramatic victory in Friday's West Country derby saw some heroic individual performances within an impressive team display from Pat Lam's men.

Supreme Smith

The legendary Wallaby international put in a trademark defensive masterclass on Friday night in front of a jubilant Ashton Gate crowd.

Smith attempted 16 tackles during his combative 80-minute shift, completing 15 and missing just one to finish with a 93.75% success rate.

Carry on carrying

In a physical and belligerent West Country derby, Will Hurrell and Chris Vui topped the Bristol Bears' carry count with 12 apiece.

Hurrell was at his abrasive best in the hosts' midfield in a physical match-up with Bath duo, Jamie Roberts and Jackson Willison.

Samoan captain Vui showcased sharp footwork in the tight, gaining valuable yards, while also popping up in the wider channels as Pat Lam's side attacked the Bath edges.

Dynamic duo.

Wizard of Oz

Man of the match, Luke Morahan was the star of the show at Ashton Gate, putting in an exhilarating display in front of the BT Sport cameras.

The Wallaby wing made an incredible 108 metres with ball in hand, including a dazzling first-half break that saw him hauled down inches short of the whitewash.

But it was his 73rd-minute step and fend that proved decisive, laying it on a plate for Alapati Leiua to score the match-winning try.

Masterful.
