Thomas' tackle count, flawless Sheedy and Hawkins rules the skies. Check out the best of the match stats from Friday's Premiership Cup victory over Gloucester at Ashton Gate.
Dan Thomas made his first appearance of the season at Ashton Gate on Friday - and the industrious openside was back to business against his former club with an impressive display on the flank.
Thomas made 19 tackles (95%) against the Cherry and Whites, missing just one as Bristol Bears earned a maiden win of the 2019/20 campaign.
Relentless.
Callum Sheedy was the Bears' leading points scorer in 2018/19 with 207 points - and the fly-half, who committed his future to the club last month, opened his account for the new season with ten points on Friday night.
Sheedy kicked two conversions and two penalties with a 100% success rate to fire Bristol to a 20-17 victory.
Pinpoint.
The Bristol lineout enjoyed much success on Friday night - and young lock, John Hawkins was at the heart of it all with an impressive showing in the air.
Hawkins won six lineouts on the Bears throw, as well as making one steal to cap a strong showing from the 22-year-old forward.
Soaring.
