Stat attack: Bristol Bears 43-22 Zebre

From impact subs, to a bad day for defenders, Saturday's European Challenge Cup clash saw some impressive statistics recorded. Here's the pick of the bunch from Ashton Gate.

Beat it

As well as scoring seven tries in a bonus-point victory, Bristol Bears' attacking prowess also saw them beat 50 defenders during an action-packed 80 minutes at Ashton Gate.

In comparison, Zebre beat just 21 defenders, as the home side stormed to a 43-22 victory in front of nearly 9,000 supporters.

Elusive.

Uren sample

Despite only being on the field for 35 minutes, replacement scrum half, Andy Uren topped the charts with 130 metres made from just six carries.

Uren's numbers were aided by a 40-metre dash to the line on the hour mark after strong work Will Hurrell in the build-up.

Add to this an agonising 90-metre charge in the dying minutes that saw him hauled down inches short.

Impact.

Distance yourself

The scoreline told a story of home dominance on Saturday - and the stats backed this up, with the Bears head and shoulders above their opponents.

Pat Lam's side made an impressive 787 metres with ball in hand, compared to Zebre's 345 metres, as well making more carries (150 - 146) and more offloads (14 - 12).

 Commanding.
