Stat attack: Bristol Bears 59-21 Zebre Rugby

Lloyd makes his mark, Bears go the distance and Fricker's flare. Check out the best of the match stats from Saturday's European Challenge Cup victory over Zebre.

Going the distance

After a slow start to the game, Bristol Bears sparked into life with four tries in 15 minutes.

A devastating attacking display from the Bears saw them make 599 metres from 136 carries, as well as beating a total of 41 defenders

Frick flare

Toby Fricker's first European start for the club saw the winger also score his maiden competitive try for the club, when he rounded off a sweeping attack involving Charles Piutau and Chris Vui down the left-hand side.

The former Ebbw Vale man beat eight defenders in an impressive display, as well as making 72 metres.

Lloyd has lift off

The 22 points scored by Ioan Lloyd is the second highest haul for a Bristol Bears player on starting debut in a competitive match.

Only Luke Nabaro, with 25 points from five tries against Blackheath, has scored more on their first start for the club.

Lloyd kicked seven conversions, one penalty and crossed for a fine solo try in the first half to cap a man of the match display from the 18-year-old.
