Stat attack: Leicester Tigers 20-23 Bristol Bears

Priceless Piers, Vui's vigour and Thacks all folks - check out the best of the match stats from Saturday's historic victory over Leicester Tigers.

Priceless Piers

Another man of the match display from a guy whose meteoric rise shows no signs of slowing down.

Piers O'Conor delivered another polished display in the Bristol midfield at Welford Road to help fire his side to a second away win of the season and a league double over the Tigers.

The 23-year-old starred with some impressive stats from a historic afternoon in the East Midlands, making 11 tackles (92%), six carries, 52 metres and one offload.

O'Conor also made two key breaks during the 80 minutes - the first saw Tom Pincus dive over in the corner, only to see his score chalked off, while the second set Bristol on the front foot for Dan Thomas' try.

Add to this four defenders beaten and two key passes that led to Bristol line breaks, and you've got a sensational individual display.

Rising star.

Vui's vigour

Chris Vui topped the match tackle charts with 20 tackles at a 100% completion rate.

The dynamic lock led a sturdy Bristol defence, which was only pierced once by the home side, for Jordan Olowofela's first-half try.

Vui also claimed six lineouts out of six, including the key take for Harry Thacker's late match-winning try.

Thacks all, folks

Harry Thacker's decisive try at Welford Road was Bristol Bears' 50th of the season in the Gallagher Premiership.

It was also Thacker's seventh of an impressive league campaign, which also included a brace against the Tigers at Ashton Gate in December.

It makes the hooker the club's leading try scorer in the league this season.
