Stat attack: Wasps 19-30 Bristol Bears

Dan Thomas and Piers O'Conor topped the statistics during Sunday's Premiership Rugby Cup victory over Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.

Deadly Dan

Piers O'Conor was named man of the match, but it was certainly a close call, with Dan Thomas putting in an exceptional display at open-side.

Thomas was a threat at the breakdown throughout the afternoon, winning six turnovers for the visitors, as they battled to a first away win of the season.

But his contribution didn't end there, making a remarkable 21 tackles (100%) without missing one.

Outstanding.

Po'Cket rocket

Man of the match, Piers O'Conor started at outside centre before moving to fullback midway through the second-half. But it didn't matter what position he was playing, O'Conor was simply superb throughout the afternoon, marshalling the defence and providing two key assists in attack.

Numbers wise, O'Conor made 88 metres from 14 carries, as well as making all six of his tackles (100%).

Influential.

Holmes, sweet Holmes

Nine tackles, 14 carries and 65 metres capped an impressive all-round display from Ed Holmes in the second row on Sunday.

The former Exeter Chiefs man made 100% of his tackles, as well as two eye-catching breaks in the wider channels.

Industrious.
