Stat attack: Wasps 23-20 Bristol Bears

Va va Vui, Afoa's half century and Thomas' big shift. Check out the best of the match stats from Sunday's Gallagher Premiership defeat to Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.

Va va Vui

Chris Vui really is the classiest of operators. The Samaon, who lined up on the blindside flank on Sunday, was one of the Bears' standout performers at the Ricoh, starring with and without the ball.

Vui made 13 tackles, nine carries and two clean breaks, as well as winning nine lineouts - the most in the Gallagher Premiership this weekend.

Afoa's fiftieth

John Afoa continues to be a rock in the Bears front row - and the All Black World Cup winner brought up his 50th competitive appearance for the club on Sunday afternoon. Legend.

Dan the man

In a losing cause, Dan Thomas was a constant menace to Wasps on Sunday afternoon, putting last season's runers-up under immense pressure throughout the 80 minutes.

The openside made 15 tackles (94%) and 12 carries in a monster shift from the Welshman against an impressive Wasps back row.
