Bristol Bears can confirm all players and staff reported negative Covid-19 results in the latest round of testing at the Bears High Performance Centre (Tuesday, January 19th).
Pat Lam’s men now return to a tailored training schedule leading into the round seven derby clash with Bath on Friday, January 29th (7.45pm KO).
The Director of Rugby said: “We got the all-clear this morning and that’s enabled us to continue our training schedule and utilise these free weeks before the competition gets back underway.
“While some players had a recovery break, last week was a great opportunity for others to build on their conditioning and our team fundamentals. It’s great to now have the whole squad back in today as we prepare for nine consecutive Premiership games starting with our big derby versus Bath at Ashton Gate.
“This down time has also allowed us to progress the rehabilitation of other key individuals as they prepare to be available for selection when we return next week."
