Static Cycle Raises £150 For Break The Cycle 2016

A static cycling fundraiser held at Waitrose in Nailsea raised an impressive £150 for the Bristol Rugby Community Foundation’s Break The Cycle event, which takes place on Sunday, 3rd July.

Dozens of people saddled up to do their bit for charity, while fundraising manager, Sally Mabbutt showed off the brand new 2016 Break The Cycle kit.

Sally said: “We raised over £150 from the day and lots of interest in Break The Cycle and Bristol Rugby Community Foundation and what we were doing was generated.

“Everybody is now looking forward to the main event in ten days time.”

Each cyclist has been challenged with raising £250, but you can help the fundraising effort by donating at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/BreakTheCycle2016

Break The Cycle 2016 is taking place on Sunday, 3rd July 2016.
