The full back, who has been sidelined for almost a year with a knee injury, returns for the Premiership Shield clash, while Sione Faletau is also set for his first outing of the season following a calf injury.

Italian international winger Leonardo Sarto – whose previous clubs include Glasgow Warriors and Zebre – makes his club debut on the wing after joining on a short-term trial.

His attitude throughout the rehabilitation period has been exemplary and we’re looking forward to seeing him back in the Bears jersey.”
