Team news: Bristol Bears U18s vs Exeter Chiefs U18s

Bristol Bears U18s welcome Exeter Chiefs to Shaftesbury Park on Friday night in a behind-closed-doors development fixture.

The young Bears suffered a narrow 26-33 defeat to Bath in their first game of the season last weekend, as the visitors outscored them by five tries to four to take the derby spoils.

The Bears U18s make one change to the side that was edged out by Bath, with Sam Worsley shifting from full back into the midfield and Ellis Davies taking over in the number 15 shirt. Henry Hawkins is named among the replacements.

Jamie Collier captains from the openside flank and Jac Lloyd continues at fly half, where he partners JJ Williams.

Senior Academy Manager, Gethin Watts, said: "We are really looking forward to welcoming Exeter to Bristol on Friday night. They were impressive winners against Worcester last week and it is this type of opposition that makes these games so important for the development of our young players."

Please note, these fixtures are not open to spectators.
