Team news: Bristol Bears Women vs Loughborough Lightning

Kim Oliver makes eight changes as Bristol Bears Women take on Loughborough Lightning in their first home match of the 20/21 campaign.

Co-captain Clara Nielson returns to the front row for the visit of Loughborough Lightning after missing the season opener at Sandy Park.

Marlo Boyd comes into the engine room, while Megan Barwick and Daisie Mayes start in the back row. 

The Bears will have a new half-back partnership on Saturday as Rhi Parker starts at scrum half to partner England U20 international, Lucie Skuse at fly half.

Kyara Martin makes her return to competitive action for the Bears as she starts of the wing following 12 months out through injury.

Jo Smith makes her first start of the 20/21 season named at full-back for Saturday’s clash at Shaftesbury Park.
