Team news: Bristol Bears Women vs Saracens Women

Kim Oliver has named her first matchday squad ahead of tomorrow's Tyrrells Premier 15s season opener against Saracens Women at Shaftesbury Park (12pm).

Co-captains Amber Reed and Clara Nielson will lead the team out at Shaftesbury Park in what is expected to be a blockbuster encounter between the Bears and Saracens.


Summer signings Siwan Lillicrap and Keira Bevan will get their first taste off Tyrrell’s Premier 15s action against the Champions as they make their debuts in the second row and at scrum-half respectively, while Lauren Smyth is named amongst the replacements

The bulldozing duo if Naomi Keddie and Sarah Bern make up the remainder of the front-row, while Hollie Cunningham completes the tight five.

Poppy Leitch, Ebony Jefferies and Rownita Marston will look cause Saracens all sorts of headaches named in the back-row.

The experienced Elinor Snowsill will partner Welsh compatriot Bevan in the half-backs with Reed outside her at twelve.

Phoebe Murray is named at outside centre with Lilly Stoeger-Goddard and Lucy Burgess on the wings, while Lucy Attwood complete the starting fifteen at full-back.

 Charlie Budge, Ellie Mulhearn, Jess Thomas and Daisie Mayes will be looking to make an impact in the forward pack if introduced with Lucie Skuse and Becky Hughes completing the matchday twenty-two.

 Bristol Bears Women will take on Saracens Women at Shaftesbury Park tomorrow at midday with tickets priced at £5 for Adults, £3 for Under-18s and £1 for Under-12s.
